Mikkeller have tried their hand at giving this actually Belgian beer style a Danish twist by using the famous Danish Stevnsbaer cherries for lagering. What makes this variation special is that after 5 months, the lambic was aged in smaller barrels for another 2 months. The result is a Lambic that is bursting with fruitiness!
